A wonderful stone-built detached cottage, situated in the middle of a field on the owners' working farm in the small Teesdale hamlet of Holwick. The remote cottage, which is approached by a farm lane, has been skilfully created from an old stone barn and has upside down accommodation to take advantage of the lovely views.

The magnificent waterfall of High Force is within walking distance of the hamlet and the Pennine Way passes close by. There are nearby picturesque villages to explore: Middleton, Mickleton and Romaldkirk, and the ancient market town of Barnard Castle is well worth a visit. All of the Northern Dales are within easy reach and the Lake District is less than an hour’s drive away. Fishing, riding, golf and a variety of watersports are all available locally.
