Pet Friendly Cottage

Ellary Cottage is one of the oldest on the estate, and has thick stone walls making it very cosy. It is popular with couples or young families. The accommodation is all on one level and features a generous living room with dining area and open fire, large double bedroom with views out to the loch, modern kitchen with washing machine, bathroom with bath (no shower), and a bunk room with full sized single bunks. The fenced garden wraps around the front of the property, and is the ideal place to sit and enjoy a book. It is close to the harbour, so ideal for boat owners.
The location of the cottage is amazing - if you like being away from it all - as it really is off the beaten track. The cottage is about a 15 minute drive off a single track road with lochside views. There's lots to see and do in the area if you like the outdoors and looking for a dog friendly getaway to recharge your batteries then this could be an ideal place for you.
The cottage is half an hour from the nearest shops/restaurants etc, and just over half an hour to an hour from all the ferries to the islands (Islay, Arran, Gigha, etc). Oban is just under an hour and a half to the north - and you can get the ferry to Mull and the Outer Hebrides from here. Inveraray is under an hour away, and is great for rainy days, with quite a few attractions. Glasgow is about two and a half hours away.
Walk for miles in the undisturbed countryside surrounding the cottage, see the abundance of wildlife (otters, seals, deer, and red squirrels are just a few of our regular visitors - with the occasional eagle thrown in for good measure). Beach, lochs, and the countryside beauty all available from your doorstep.
Be sure to bring the camera and binoculars, as you will no doubt find yourself using them daily!
